Email Folders can be moved into the trash for recycling them at a later time or to delete them permanently.
On this page:
Deleting an Email Folder
To delete an Email Folder, bring up the Context Menu for the selected Email Folder by right clicking it, and hover the Delete... menu item.

Screenshot above: The Folder Panel with it's context menu.
Some folders cannot be deleted. This goes for all default folders and for folders which are currently being processed. Folders which are currently being processed are marked with a 'pending' icon |
Once you have brought up the context menu for the folder panel, click the menu item Delete… for the corresponding folder you wish to delete.
| Read carefully! If the folder you are about to delete is already a subfolder of the Trash Folder, the specific folder gets deleted without further notice. Otherwise, the folder is moved to the Trash Folder. conjoon will show a confirmation dialog that asks you if you wish to move the selected folder to the Trash. Once it's there, it is ready to be finally deleted without further notice. |

Screenshot above: A confirm dialog asks you wether you'd like to proceed with deleting the folder.
Click the 'Yes' button from the confirm dialog to proceed, otherwise the 'No' button to cancel deleting the folder.
Once a folder is in the Trash, choosing to delete it will remove it permanently from conjoon. You will not be able to access this folder or any of it's contents anymore. |
See Deleting Email Messages for information about how to delete specific messages of a folder. |
Undeleting an Email Folder
Once the folder is in the 'Trash', you can 'undelete' it by simply moving the folder out of the Trash. For more information about moving folders, see Moving an Email Folder. |
